During the first lesson (especially with a very low student) there are things you may want say in certain terms in order to reassure the student of your teaching ability and to fully explain things. Below is a list of potentially helpful phrases for the first time with a new student. If you can think of something else let us know.

| If you forget how to come here call me and I'll go meet you again | ここまでの道を忘れてしまったら、電話をしてください。私がもう一度迎えに行きます Koko made no michi o wasurete shimattara denwa o shitekudasai. Watashi ga mouichido mukae ni yukimasu |
| Today's lesson is 3500 yen | 今日のレッスンは3500円です。 Kyo no resun wa san-zen go-hyaku en desu. |
